THE STORY

Conceptualized by a group of friends from Zaragoza and built over two years, Café del Mar Ibiza opened its doors on June 20th, 1980.

The founders sought to create a space where like-minded people could meet, unwind, and experience the beauty of the moment.

Café del Mar is often credited as the pioneer of chillout music. Perfectly capturing the essence of the Ibizan spirit, balearic, hedonistic and deeply emotional.

As of today, Café del Mar is a well known and respected Ibizan institution, dedicated to its original vision of creating unforgettable experiences that resonate with tranquility, the beauty of the nature and celebration of life.
